How do you write like you're running out of time?

As of today, the second and third books in the "Mates of Astara" series are fully written and have begun their editing processes. Several friends and family members have asked how I can write so much, and my answer is usually always the same. "I don't know." I think part of it is that I'm just having fun. These are the first books I've written where I don't feel any kind of pressure to write, and I'm just "enjoying the ride."

Another reason...I really like this series! When I'm writing, it often feels like I'm just a reader enjoying the story as it comes into my head. These characters are so fun to dive into, and I'm excited for my readers to meet some of the new ones soon!

As for the next two books and when they'll be released: My goal is to get book two out VERY soon. I'm hoping for August at the latest. For book three, it gets a little more complicated. I just started writing book four today, and I am debating releasing them at the same time! Without giving anything major away, the stories of both books take place around the same time but with different characters. I'm hoping to finish writing book four within the next couple of months, and then get to work editing it ASAP.

Check-in with me on here, or on my Facebook page for updates!
